“ We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Horizon Karon Beach. The hotel recently reopened after a closure, and it's evident that the staff is doing their best to ensure a great experience for guests. The property is beautifully maintained, with plenty of freshly planted flowers and greenery. The rooms have been renovated as well. The breakfasts were excellent, offering a wide variety of options, and the staff was attentive, ensuring that nothing ran out. We were fortunate to be upgraded to a room with swimming pool access, which was absolutely stunning. These rooms have their own dedicated pool, and since it was mostly just us using it, it felt like having a private pool. However, there were a couple of drawbacks. The hotel does not have elevators, and even if your room is on the ground floor, you need to climb stairs to reach it. This could be challenging for older guests or families with young children. Additionally, while the location is convenient, situated between Karon and Kata, please note that the hotel is on a small hill, which might not be ideal for everyone. Another issue we encountered was ants. While you don't typically see them during the day, leaving food or drinks out (such as a glass of juice on the nightstand) would attract ants by morning. It's something to keep in mind to avoid any inconvenience. ”
